I don't think it was the weight cause from what I've read a CBX weighed 600 lbs with a full tank of gas.

A GL weighed 650.4 lbs with a full tank.

Thanks for the info! I have an extra set of spoke wheels I might put on this one. I usually like spokes better, but these comstars work well with the look of this bike.
I still haven't done a follow up compression test because the oil was pretty sludgy, and I want to change it before I do anything else, and I had to mail order a filter.
I'm going to do belts, water pump, valve adjust, timing, plugs, filters, clean the carbs, and run it.
Here's what I've found so far,
The good: Dyna ignition, full floating rear disc, Wat Yong coils
The bad: One leaky carb, antifreeze at the weep hole, and some hacked wiring (already fixed the wiring issues)
