Clutch Adjust Cover

#1

Post by BlueThunder »

I need a gasket for the cover where one adjusts the clutch for a GL1000. I can't find the part on Honda's fische. Anyone know the part number? Or have one to sell?

Wrong cover. The one at the rear of the motor. The cover gasket I need is for the cover where the CLUTCH IS ADJUSTED.

Is there a gasket?
What model year is the bike?
I think there is no gasket here. There is not oil or water to seal.

Yes, there was/is a gasket. It is to keep water out. I put a very small bead of RTV on any if I have them apart.

Square O-ring, originally part of the cover, not available separately.

In Honda's fashion, the cover is on the handlebar fische. There is no indication of a gasket. So I guess I will have to make one out of cork or neoprene. Thanks guys for your assistance.

Send me your address and I will send you one. I make these using my 3D printer and it will fit perfectly. Just send me a donation to at least cover the shipping. Thanks, Cedric
