1976 gl1000 clutch lifter arm return spring.
Removed clutch cover to adjust the clutch cable and discovered the lifter return spring laying loose in the housing. Just wondering what the symptoms would be with this spring not connected???

Having enemies is not necessarily a bad thing! It means that at some point in your life you have stood up for something.

Only thing I can think of is a possibility of the cable slipping out of the arm.

I’d give my right arm to be ambidextrous!
