Do you mill an undersized hole to allow for melting ??

Is it normal for the bleeder screw to stick that far into the caliper? Looks like it might interfere with the piston travel.

The bleeder screw does not enter the piston camber. If you look at the picture I posted of the caliper internals with the piston removed, the smaller of the two holes is the bleeder hole. The larger hole is where the brake line and banjo connect up to the caliper.

this one? It looks like the bottom of the bleeder screw sticking into the bore for the piston.

It’s the brake line banjo bolt that is tapped into the caliper housing at 10 o’clock in the picture. The bleeder valve is the hole at 2 o’clock.

I'm blaming it on an optical illusion..now that I look at it again I can see it is a threaded hole and not the end of the bleeder screw.
