So my issue is not with the turn signal. It's actually the tail lamp causing the problem.uyh
So I put the tail end of the bike back together and when I connect these together, the 5A Tail fuse blows.
Also, as you can see in the pic, the wire colors are opposite when connected. Do they not belong together?

Re: Turn Signal Problem
Though I still don't know how the Signal Relay connects in relation to those three wires but I'm guessing my fuse blowing is because the positive turn signal wire is shorting somewhere. I'm going to follow the wire around later this afternoon when I get off and see what I can find.

Re: Turn Signal Problem
Having a schematic is helpful . I believe the brown is tail filament the Green/yellow is brake filament and the Green is ground for the socket and often the fender for a ground required for the turn signals ( lt blue and orange ) any other connection to the Green may be a shorted condition. Double checking just the tail light light assembly with a battery charger can expose a shorted wire harness or socket and re checking with the ground at the fender too along with the Green Easy to pinch a wire and not know it.

Re: Edit* Tail Lamp Problem
Updated findings, see first post. I'm guessing that was my issue, leaving it unplugged solves my problem and everything works as it should... learning curve guys.

In your first pic, that is not a stock connector, so any wiring advice given based on original colors is not going to help much. I would suggest you go backwards under the seat until you find the original wiring harness so you can sort out what colors have been changed. There's a good (and free) wiring diagram available in ShopTalk specifically for each year of the 1000's. That and a test light or multimeter should get you on your way...

Re: Edit* Tail Lamp Problem
I'd be looking into where those connectors are wired to and would probably remove them before they cause more problems.
BTW: There's a direct link to the schematics in my signature. Even if you don't need it for this its a good idea to have it for the next time you are working on the wiring.
