Unless the implication is that this bike is a money pit, but (knock on wood) it hasn't been terrible so far. And I'm learning, which makes me happy. Haha.
Probably not a money pit, but I know I've spent, and continue to spend far more than the bikes worth. But it is fun trying to sort out the many issues.

I missed these in my list of parts to assemble, and partzilla lists 3 of the o-rings. I'm not sure which is right..

14 O-RING (21.9X2.3) 91301-MB6-003 In Stock $1.60 $1.42

14 O-RING (21.9X2.5) 91302-371-023 In Stock $1.60 $1.42

14 O-RING (21.9X2.3) 91302-371-013 In Stock $1.60 $1.42

They also list two different joint gaskets (though I could probably make those..)

7 GASKET, WATER JOINT 19429-371-000 In Stock $4.85 $4.29

7 GASKET, WATER JOINT 19429-371-306 In Stock $4.85 $4.29

Any insights?

On the list I have, the O rings are all 21.9 x 2.5. The numbers you have are all essentially the same item, it's just that they get superseded over time. Same with the gasket. The gaskets are very thin so with a steady hand you could cut them yourself, but for the price I would buy the correct item.
The water tubes are just a push fit, with a slight twist, and care needs to be taken when assembling so the O rings don't get caught, but a little lubricant like Vaseline can help.

Ah... I had forgotten that we had discussed throwing money at our bikes earlier in the thread. I think I would rather throw money at a bike than a boat. My neighbour sold his boat and bought a Spyder 9 years ago and hasn't regretted it. He says he had to haul the boat to a lake to launch it every time he used it and bring it home afterward and when he opened up the throttle he could use the fuel gauge as a speedometer. The bike, on the other hand, is ready to go any time he is :8) :8) :8)

O-rings:
These are correct if you can wait for them to cross the ocean https://www.ebay.ca/itm/321062447636

Or you could buy an assortment https://www.princessauto.com/en/detail/ ... -p8657470e (on sale this week)

Gaskets:
Your local Honda dealer should be able to get you the gaskets in a few days or you can cut them from 0.8mm(1/32") gasket sheet.

If the o-rings are available in those kits, I likely have them in my work truck. Will have to check. Head gaskets are on the way, just have to order up the rest!

I would also rather have a bike as a money pit over a boat. Boats are great, but the whole dragging out every time/paying for mooring is just a pain in the rear.

O-rings can be stretched a bit so if you have ones that are close they will be fine as long as the "wire" size (cross section) is still in spec when they are on the pipes.

When I got my gasket kit the o rings for the oil orifices were not there. I found them locally at a hardware store.

This is the worst valve, it was the intake valve that was stuck.

Is this salvageable? Or should I order a new one?

I would definitely replace any valves that are that bad. I have some used ones but they are not that expensive so I would replace with new. What do the valve seats look like ?

How do I go about cleaning this up? Just soak in a solvent tank and scrub away?

Is there anything I need to do with the cylinders?

Thanks

The cylinders look good, Just make sure the valve seats are not pitted or they will have to be reground or replaced. Be very careful cleaning the gasket material off. Its really easy to scratch up the aluminum heads. I used single edged razor blades and scotch brite pads.
