Hello everyone!
Anyone know if the big single piston calipers from the 1980-81 will work on the 83 wheels?
Of course it would be the 80 forks..with the 83 wheels on it...

Have not done it, but can't think of why is should not work just fine. Possibly some rotor to caliper spacing changes maybe needed to be checked.

Like Oldewing above, I haven't done it, but I think as long as you're keeping all the 80 brake components (brackets, calipers, and rotors) you should be good to go... and stop!

Did this a long whilre ago .... as I recall there was a thin paper spacer behind the 83 disc mounts that had to be removed to get the spacing right .... but I've slept since then ....
