Changing headlights
will the charging system on a 77 be able to handle a set of dual 3 1/2" 50/60 watt h4 halogen headlights with led taillight, and turn signals? Really struggling to find a headlight for "Go Wang".

Re: Changing headlights
Certainly not in addition to the stock headlight but as a replacement that will depend on the individual bike I suspect. The numbers are not firm but you would be right at the edge and if your system is not excellent you will have issues. By System I mean all of it, the battery, the wiring, the connectors, the rectifier, the stator etc etc all. Also depends on your riding conditions. Do you spend much time stuck in traffic or are you out on country road cruising.

Re: Changing headlights
I replaced my halogen with an LED (the one with the fan), and I am loving it. I added two spot led lights and never used them as the headlight lids everything.

Re: Changing headlights
I wimped out on maxing out the electrical load. I went with the dual 35 watt single filament junk lights.
