I noticed a crack in my HIGH/LOW Beam switch housing so I ordered a replacement from Cyclepsycho (highly recommended) and when I try to put the new housing back together, I can't get the HIGH/LOW beam headlight switch to work. It seems to me that the switch part isn't making contact where it should on the contact points. I can get it work occasionally if I wiggle it just right, but I can't put the screws in it, and get it work.
I also just found this on another site....
http://goldwingdocs.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=25116
it describes my exact problem, but there doesn't seem to be a resolution besides making a new one from copper....
Any ideas?

Re: HIGH/LOW Beam switch issues...
Can't quite see from the photos, but are you able to disassemble the contact points. If so, you could pack them out from the reverse side, maybe with solder and then they shouldn't wear as quickly!
Previous Rides,

I did this same thing with the solder and it's working well about a year later.JBz wrote:ive built them dimples up with solder.Might not last forever but it works. jb
