How to remove Stuck and broken fuel jets
I am slowly working my way through a rebuild of the '78 carbs. They are looking really nice and clean. The only problem is about half of the fuel jets are either stuck or stuck with broken "ears". At the moment they are soaking with PB blaster but I would appreciate suggestions for removing them, especially the broken ones! And a source for replacements. Unfortunately Randakk's kit doesn't include jets so I'm not sure where to go unless it is another set of old carbs.

Re: How to remove Stuck and broken fuel jets
PB Blaster and heat from my HF heat gun usually unsticks stuff inside carbs. As for broken "ears". I am sorry I am not familiar with those. An easy out may help but I'm guessing.

Re: How to remove Stuck and broken fuel jets
The heat gun worked, thanks for the idea. I will still have to replace some of these components . At the moment I am running the small parts through the ultrasonic then see what gets replaced. I acquired a set of no name kits for a '77 engine sometime back and it looks like some of those components will interchange. I still may be short.
