Now that that is settled and everyone has a dipstick, welcome to the club Swanpondwv.

Hope you stick around. It is a very good forum, and gang, here on NGW. As you can see, we try to look out for each other as best we can. When you get a chance, swing by the Welcome and Introductions section and start a New to NGW post and tell us a bit about yourself and how you came about needing a dipstick for a Goldwing.

JBz wrote:honestly I never received the PM from swamppond. It wouldn't have made any difference As I would have given Youngster first dibs anyway. I have this other one if interested SwampWV. It could use some wire brushing , paint and a new crush washer .<stock Honda item> $30.00 shipped. ... jb
Does that screw into the drain plug ?

I got it in the mail, thank you. You were saying that I would need a new crush washer? So I shouldn't recycle the one that you sent with the kit? Do the little rubber washers fit on either side of the compression fitting ferrule? Thanks again. Sorry for all the questions.

I got mine from Wingovations. Fits nicely and a necessary item that Honda should have included.

Yeah, I looked the other day and didn't see it. Possible that I got the last one. Contact Old Fogey to inquire if more are coming.

chuck the rubber gizmos. Those are the halves of a old weathered grommet that went into the top mount hole and the tube slides into that . Go to Ace or home depot and get a new one. I sent a new crush washer with it. Use that and chuck the old one.....jb
jbz........... Thinkin about sh-t too hard and You wont get anything done
