As an after thought, I will be having these front and back de chromed, repaired as needed with braising and then triple chromed. There are parts of the rear guard that will very quickly progress into a hole, if not already, you know how it is, you grind a bit down and suddenly that 1/4 rust spot is 5" in diameter. So will have to see, I was hoping to get them blasted down to base metal and take it from there.
Ian out for a bit anyway.

Okay as a update the rear mud guard or fender is I think the words that describes it is dirt with chrome holding it together. So I just bought another £35 in the UK used but looks good.
Front was collected today from the blaster, 1 small hole that will be braised towards the bottom at the back where it splays out. That has gone to the Chromer, should get it back about 9-10May will post a couple of photos then.
