I like the dupli color, but clear over polished will work as well. Just depends on the look you are going for.

I had mine glass bead blasted, then clear coated them, was very happy with results. bike hasn't run yet, so not sure how it'll hold up but don't foresee any issues.

I just finished painting and polishing mine today. I sanded the factory paint and polished those areas then tapped them off except the Honda which I put Vaseline on. once dry I gave the polished areas on last buff. I will be getting some Sharkhide to cover all the polished areas on my bike before it is ridden. I used Dupli-Color gloss caliper paint. I have a few touch up spots to fix but otherwise happy.

Norbert-

Had mine pc'd black and think they look good. Yours look fantastic! I would have gone with clear PC instead of paint but love the look. Hope the hold up well for you!

I use duplicolor caliper paint-silver on lots of things IMHO it looks great and is durable. I did my exhaust sister and it took the heat well.
The paint is concentrated and covers quickly, you get a lot of MPG out of a can.

Sorry I meant Sharkhide. I have heard good things of this product. Kind of pricy but if it works. I will find out. http://www.sharkhide.com/

I did DIY gloss black PC. The looks works for me and PC is always a good choice for brake fluid spills. But the other products noted above are also good.

I like the SharkHide, never seen it before, thanks for the link Jimmy, think I'll give it a try.
