gl1100 regulator in a 78 gl1000 black sense wire

Post by JBz »

I realize there are other options but using what I got im installing a gl1100 regulator on my 78. . Can I get some info on where to hookup the blacksensor wire on the 1100 regulator to the 1000 wiring. Can any fused switched hot wire be a place like maybe the rear brake light switch work or back to black hot wire off the original regulator plug????????. Thanks JB

I put one on my 75 and all I did was to run a wire from the black wire back to
the 1000 reg. plug and use the power at that point and then I taped it up
