just lights up the light - correct ?
I forgot to hook it up and I am in NO mood to drop the motor to hook it up right now
My chopper ain't got no stinkin' N light so I'm use to not having one
Come this winter I can attack it along with everything else I want to do (as long as I don't blow yet another head gasket)
On a positive note - my Dyna ignition system was spot on even after pulling it to resurface the heads. 3/4 dead one 2/1 just needed a slight tweek.
New luggage setup is almost done, just need to install new digital meter assembly and shoot some paint.

It is also a part of the starter circuit. With it disconnected, you will have to hold the clutch in to engage the starter (assuming your clutch switch works.)

If you're resourceful, you can get at it without pulling anything... http://www.ngwclub.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=24019

Stupid thing's a waste of effort anyway in my opinion.
I stripped mine when I had the engine out, took it apart, cleaned it properly and reassembled.
It worked fine for a while, now it seems to light almost entirely at random.
PITA.
