Yes, the shiniest parts are the ones Sunbob and company polished. The oil plug, fuel pump mount, gear cover and points cover, I did myself and aren't as shiny. How do you do it ,Richard? Is it The India ink? I used Flitz but it still didn't come out as shiny as your stuff did.
How's the knee doing?
Seat is Corbin touring model.
Lefty, I never did get to see the La Conner Le Car police cruisers, a couple of years before I showed up in this neck of the woods. I do remember the Le Cars, though. Sorta like Yugo class. Just makes me laugh thinking about them though. Maybe they should have been "La" Cars?

The story I heard was that the Le Car was given to the town by the auto mfg. And of course what town would not accept. Anything to make La Conner "Another Roadside Attraction".
Hey my first new car was a Honda N600 sedan, a parallel twin engine and a knock off Mini body. Cost me $1 per pound $1300 for a brand new four passenger car 1971.
Your bike looks amazing. I had that same seat on a BMW R1200c.

Thanks Lefty.
I've almost always gone for the small car. I remember those Honda 600s. They had the gearshift on the dash didn't they? A little stick shift.
Just wonder how car chases went with those Le Cars . .

Maybe Sunbobb could "shine" some light on those little cars that couldn't.
Yep gear shifter hung on the dash. My Honda Element is similar in that the shifter hangs from the dashboard but you don't have to double clutch the modern Hondas. I also had a Honda Insight the first Hybird and it was a fun car to drive.
Noteworthy: I pulled an aluminum framed single wheeled trailer with my 600 that attached to a custom bumper with a hitch ball at each end of the bumper. This was to transport my potter's wheel from Seattle to Knoxville. Semi trucks were passing me going up the long grade into Boise iD.
I grew up in Steilacoom WA.

I'm sure LaConner has changed alot since I worked out of there in the 70's and 80's, but I can remember how small and crooked some of those streets were, the little cars didn't seem like such a bad idea then. I had a dodge crewcab 4x4, it was all I could do to get around some of the corners downtown, impossible on weekends or during tulip fest! Can't wait to get out for the NW Run and see how things have changed.

VERY nice, and I especially like the symmetry!!
The bike is essentially just another bike... The pilot is CRAZY.
