Currently, the front turn signals on my bike are mounted to the fork ears. I'm looking to move them down, like this:
What parts do I need? Hard to tell from the schematic...

Standard fork ears that have the turn signal mount built in. That's what you're looking at here on this (I'm guessing) 81.
I'm assuming your '83 is a former Interstate or Aspencade and you have aftermarket headlight ears.
The other approach is to use universal tube clamps to mount the turn signals to your fork tube.

Ahhhh, those are the fork ears.. All once piece.
Can these be installed without fully pulling apart the front end - just disconnect the hoses & cables and slide both forks down in the tubes (holding the bike up with a jack)? And what's the part called that covers the brake line splitter?

Yes, but you'll also have to remove the front tire and fender.Tugboat wrote:Can these be installed without fully pulling apart the front end - just disconnect the hoses & cables and slide both forks down in the tubes (holding the bike up with a jack)?
Fork nameplate - or so I believe.Tugboat wrote: And what's the part called that covers the brake line splitter?
