It is the mounting bolt that runs through the lower front section of the engine and then through the frame mounts that hang below the front part of the lower rails. Need to get the images attached soon.

Be careful how you remove it. Work at it fairly gently. Lot's of PB Blaster and some heat. Some fairly light tapping. The last thing you want to do is hit it real hard and break the engine case part where the bolt goes through.

will do. Plan on giving it a little effort and then drill and tap for a new bolt.

Not sure what you are drilling and tapping. The stock bolt is a through bolt. It is not threaded in to the case or the frame. Just goes through and has a nut on the other end.

Thanks, got the impression it had some threads into the block. Sounds a little less challenging than I thought.

But, since it sounds like someone used allthread, and many did to install crash bars, so do be careful. I have one in here now that is also stuck, same deal. Allthread from mounting the crash bar. Not sure if I want to chance removing it. As long as the engine never has to come out it isn't a deal breaker. But it would be nice to have the correct part there.

All thread is the worst to use, it holds water in the threads and locks itself in real good. I could not find the correct bolt a couple of years ago, I use metric all thread, but stainless steel. Still gave her a real good slathering with anti seize.

Oh, and I had to use a torch to heat it up enough to get the first one out :orange

Christmas is almost here. You could probably find at least a few people that could use one.

Hi as I said in a earlier post, pull this out by tightening the nut onto a spacer, done this several times as they always seize themselves solid in the lovely British weather, apply some heat at the same time if you can, not too much, and if it stuck just do it over a few days the action of doing the nut up tight will keep working, this method has never failed me. Just be aware that if you go a bit heavy handed you do run the risk of shearing the end off, its never happened but it could, also put 2 nuts together, that way the load is spread onto more threads

Earlier he said he had only about 1/4" of thread to work with. Not much room for a spacer and still be able to catch enough thread.
