Rebuilding the rear brakes on my 78 I got the piston removed on the bleed niple side with a grease gun, how do I get the other one out?

Re: rear caliper piston removal
I think I used air, split the caliper apart, then you should have access to fluid passage.

Re: rear caliper piston removal
Air is usually sufficient unless there are REALLY wedged in there. Grease gun is definitely a "when all else fails" solution.

Re: rear caliper piston removal
Clean the first piston up a bit and push it back in slightly. Put in a block to stop the first one and pump out the second one with more grease. Should be able to get them both out now for a full cleanup of the caliper. Works for me.

Re: rear caliper piston removal
The one is really stuck, tried a block of wood and some grease came free a little but pushed the other back in , gonna try a c clamp on the one that was out and try and force the other out
