Rear master cylinder

#1

Post by Edmaddox »

I am currently trying to restore a 1980 Goldwing interstate. Going along pretty good until I got to the rear master cylinder, put a rebuild kit in it but it was leaking out the boot so took it back a part and noticed some pitting in the neck near the end so toot some Emeries paper on a stick with a drill to dress it up. Must have taken too much off because now it will not build up any pressure. Having a tough time finding a replacement. Any ideas?

Several have adapted more readily available gl1800 rear masters with a little modification.
