Got to say I'm a bit disappointed with the non-reaction to Whiskerfish's post about the route.
Not one person replied!
I was really hoping to meet up with some of you that can't make it to Randakk's rally.
Ah well, I'm sure we'll be having a great time anyway!

I just found this post, don't know why I missed it. I can probably meet you for lunch in Roxboro. Any idea where you plan to stop? We can meet at the McDonalds or Burger King right on 501 and move to another spot if you wish. There is a decent Mexican restaurant in Roxboro but its not right on the main drag. There is a Golden Corral there as well again right on 501 but its just south of town past your 49 turn off.
(Edit)
Actually a better idea, I can meet you at the BP station in Clarksville, VA right on 15/49. It is located on the right just before 15 merges with 58. That way I can ride a few miles with you.

Oh and my vote is Golden Coral. Have been boycotting McDonalds for years and Booger king about once a year is enough.

Sorry for no reply, I was one of the "views" but figured it was out of the question to add point "J" on the map to my house... It is only another 524 mi – about 8 hours 45 mins

If you plan on getting to Clarksville near the lunch hour there is a very nice restaurant right in the "downtown" area of Clarksville. It located in an old house and if the weather is pleasant they have a nice patio section outside under shade trees. It would undoubtedly be a better dining experience than Golden Corral.Whiskerfish wrote:Lunch in Roxboro from 1 pm to 2 pm
