What a difference a Sync makes

#1

Post by Roady »

I went over to Ritalz place today and used his mercury sticks.

She runs just so sweet now that it makes my teeth hurt. I really didnt' think the sync would make so much difference since I'd already done the bench sync on the carbs.

Thanks Al for the use of your tools and for the great hospitality. I really enjoyed the ride and even the cold downpour wasn't so bad. It was a much better thing to do than anything else I could think of.

You've also got a pretty sweet bike there yourself. That's a nice paint job you did there.

Let's see if we can't get a St. Louis Naked Gang together for some lunch or dayrides or something.

Moooch Us GrassyAz, Amigo! (that's some kinda Spanish for THANKS!)

Thanks for the kudo's on the bike Steve. I too enjoyed the company and the ride, even if the weather didn't cooperate. Hit a pretty heavy downpour about a mile from home. I will have to locate a little bit of replacement mercury for some that spilled ages ago to get the styx back to original condition. And yes, it would be great to get a few of us together for a meet & greet. Later.

Good deal!! Many folks seem to forget about a synch for some reason. To me it is part of any complete tune up. Just a standard maintenance item that can make a world of difference in performance.

But the idea of a Saint Louis naked gang, that's frightening to contemplate...
Enjoy life,

Old Farts Naked by the Big River

Ride Naked St. Louis

Ride Naked, St. Louis
