She's Alive!!!

I finished the Randakk Overhaul and got the carbs installed just before dark. Had to give Winnie a start. And then had to make a video for YouTube.

Winnie's Finally Idling!

Don't she sound sexy with those Hardley pipes?

That Randakk kit with Howard's book is just brilliant. And another thing ... I had two "leftover" o-rings that were driving me crazy. I went to the site to contact Randall and saw that he is on vacation until June 24th. Crap! But I sent an email hoping that I'd get an answer before installing the carbs. Eleven (11!) minutes later he replied! The answer was in Tech Tips but somehow I missed it. It's not in Howard's book, tho'. Seems those are for the fuel inlet fitting. It's a royal pain to get to when the carb set and linkage is all assembled (but it can be done, just don't miss that lock washer under everything).

It makes me so happy.

I feel like a god of carburetors today.

Tomorrow I'll be the slave of rear brakes.
