Over here in the US, we have a real problem finding good places to go when our older... I mean vintage motorcycles need service. The vast majority of dealerships won't even consider working on anything older than ten years old, and even when they do, your chances of gettng your ride fixed correctly are not good. So owners of older bikes often have to become mechanics as well. Here's a link to a site I visit for guidance: http://www.dansmc.com/mc_repaircourse.htm I hope you folks find it as helpful as I do.

Hey I don't know who did this, but thanks. You have helped me make a strong step in the right direction. I will use this site to work on my Goldwing just as soon as I buy the shop manual.

Can anyone help me identify the True model of my Goldwing: the vin is SC022019851. I was told that it is the Interstate, but some of the people that I have talked with and/or showed them the bike, have stated that it is the Standard. I am so ready to find out, I need this information so I can get the proper shop manual.

Thanks
