Couple of things..

1. RAT bought and wears one of the Pink hats already
2. RAT's closet might be a real scary place, so I ain't going there.

I'm not quite grasping the pink hat thing but Rat, you may have some competition in the long ride event if I follow the river closely all the way down to St. Louis.

My friend Nathan and I have decided to give the ride down two fullish days so we'll have some time. In any event he presently may be in the running for the non- member longest ride with an additional 160 miles for him from Duluth to Saint Paul, MN.

I am really looking forward to this.

There was a threat to give a pink hat to the 'farthest rider' at the Pig Out.

I think my schedule has opened up and I can be there at least on Saturday morning for breakfast at Powhatan then follow the crowd back to Roady's place to meet the folks. I'm pretty sure I can get my brother-in-law, Mike, to ride along. Some of you local folks have met him. Might even get one or two of my son's to ride along.

this is out in the country..... you follow the road.... turn out the house the smiths used to live in (they moved in 1950, and BTW the house is not there any more) and then there is the big oak tree that was hit by lightening in the storm of "aught two" (that is 1902).... and a bit more, and you are there
