Just wanted to check in and thank everybody in advance for advice and info. I might be looking for a lot of both. I have an 80 GL1100 that I have already made "naked". Now I have big ideas on making it into an old hot-rod style rat-rod. I have pretty much settled on the basics(Satin paint, red wheels, wide white walls, etc.) I am not as sure on if I want go more in the direction of a cafe style, or more of a bagger. I am sure you'll be seeing my questions coming up soon, and I appreciate the great resource.

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handlebars to the saddle.

Oh, trust me, I have seen every picture in the gallery- Multiple times!- That is actually how I found you guys. I have gotten more helpful info in the last 12 hours here than in months of "tavern tech talk" locally.
