I say keep the frame red, hit the swingarm with the same red, and black on the engine with red accents like the intake runners fuel pump and tach drive stuff and points housing polished valve covers, on second thought don't do that that'll be my paint job on the next one.

paint the swingarm and final drive to match the engine pewter, leave the frame red, polish the forks, whatever color tins (silver, black, white, whatever) color match your rims. that'll keep you in your 3 color rule. i personally don't like rules and restrictions, but whatev.
leave the tail alone. be proud of it. it looks good. i think its the angle you're looking at it. the kickstand side pic looks different than the one you referenced. btw, if anyone gives you c&@p about it when its done, do like my pops always told me, tell them to take a real good, close look, and smack 'em in the back of the head.

the bike looks good, trust your judgment.

If your bars are dead straight across it will feel a little un-natural. Hoosiers Bomber has similar bars and after a days ride I believe he said it was a little straining on the wrist? If she is a short distance bike, you probably won't have any trouble. Now that I've thrown 2 cents in... Looks awsome so far! :orange

changed my mind on the colors a little, no more silver.the pinstripe isn't going to be white, I just had some laying around and needed to try some differant layouts. stripe is going to be gold along with a gold and red honda logo on the tank.

That works better for me, the silver and red just was not perfect and the gold, red, satin black works good the way you have things tied together. The rear fender looks great. Just need to understand your tail light and plate options.

The lines of design are starting to flow very nicely, will you need to make some alterations to the gas tank and battery box now your using flat side covers? Love the look of the flat side covers on the bike.
