Cut back the windshield and that would make a nice cafe fairing, or leave it high an it would make for nice dresser. I would just suggest since it requires no wiring, that you ensure a speedy removal when desired by placing the bolts in an "easy to wrench" location.

Motorcycle restoration is our hobby and we pay for that. But in the end of wrenching, the bikes are free!

Have you considered a valk seat? I love mine. Both in looks and comfort!

That is the first one that the have seen but it looks good if you fly solo, i preffer more utilitarian bikes and like to have the option of a passenger that may change with time and at that time i would consider it.

I refinished my Seat with Vinyl Paint and a vinyl repair sealant. I also have the fairing installed and have been working on figuring out new bracketing i installed fog lights instead of indicators and added led strips for turn signals.

I have also redone wheel bearings and replaced front wheel since then there are photos in my albums as linked above.

I have also added a Pyle Cycle Series Sounds system with custom brackets that i haven't taken pictures of yet. But they sounds awesome with stock pipes they have more volume than needed! I find my self turning the volume down after settling into cruise when the revs are low...

hope this answers things for ya

I got the fairing mounted on my wife's bike a couple weeks ago. Here are some pictures. I do need to trim the bottom bracket off inline with the fork tube. I will also be replacing the bolts and washers on the brackets with nicer looking ones.

I sure like the idea of using the OEM headlight and Blinkers, as that allows the batwing to come off very fast when desired. I think you have a good system once you get your new bolts and appropriate washers. Looking good.

I did have to trim the headlight hole to get it to fit around the housing.
