There seems to be a bit of confusion on the new board. This post I am sending out as a "Global" post. So it is in every forum. But if it is in a Forum that is restricted to Admin privileges (the welcome forum or the announcements forum or the memorial forum etc.) the general membership will be able to see it in that forum but not respond there because you do not have admin authority necessary to post in those Forums. If you are in say the Tech forum you will see the same post and be able to respond to it there. And then if you go back to the Welcome Forum and look at the post again you will see your response. That is why several of you have reported that you do not have a reply or a quote button at the bottom of some posts. That should only be happening in the restricted Forums.

Hopefully that clears this up some. If you are still having problems please let me or rocar know as we are working to resolve them as we find them.

If anyone is interested in reading about the new board area51 hosts a real good FAQ section here http://area51.phpbb.com/phpBB/faq.php

It will answer many questions and is broken down in a logical order.

oops!! lolol lolol lolol

Also of note I know some folks have been experiencing connection issues (Server not found) type of crap. I have not gotten to the bottom of that but a couple of different things to try. First clear your browser's Cache and reboot your browser. Then if you are still having problems you can try http://www.ngwclub.com/forum/ or this https://64.131.78.134/forum/ For some reason they seem to respond a bit better for some people.

Have you always been able to edit messages in your outbox? That is a seriously cool feature!

First quirk report. Images not loading in the Shoki thread. Went to the gallery found the file names, but no pic. Del3ted one of the files and attempted to upload a new replacement pic, came back with this:

Error (ERROR_PLATFORM_FAILURE)

I'm liking the changes, but going to take a bit to get used to! I am missing pics in people's signatures, not every pic, not every sig. For instance, WF, the "shoptalk" link in your sig is a square that just says "image." (I haven't tried to click it to see if it works, though; I suppose I'll do that...)

Just tried WF's and Roncar's links, they are working, I just have no graphics...

Keep up the great work!

Todd

This will sort eventually. Some of the graphics are in the gallery and are prevented from being accessed off-site from another site (we're not photobucket here. ;) .) The signature links are tinyurl and have to be rewritten. As the tinyurls point to nakedgoldwings and is then redirected here, the gallery won't display the graphics.

BTW: My firefox browser displays all the graphics correctly. :8)

I use Firefox, but the images don't work for me.
