Howdy,
Yes, I am still here!! I am working slow this summer, having to mow the yard a lot plus I have MTSS in my shop.
MTSS=Multiple Triumph Spitfire Syndrome. I recently came into the possession of 2 of them a 1974 and a 1979 Spitfire 1500. The 79 has title and runs, needs some work. The 74 has no title and is a parts car.
I have also been helping my brother with a MG Midget.
Hey, at least we can put the top down, not to cagey!!! ;)

kb0ou,

Do you have a parts list for this project (like which injectors, pump, sensors) you found to work with it?
How will you calibrate mapping to the engine?
What major hurdles have you run into so far on it?

Thanks,
Mike

Wow! What are the odds? I am also a ham radio op and a Spit owner. Got a 74 Spitfire as well as a GT6+.

Just stumbled across this thread. Real interesting project and I will be following along to see how well it works out for you. I had a Megasquirt built and had made an adapter to mount a Subaru 1.8 TBI unit on a stock Spitfire Stromberg manifold, to convert my Spit to EFI. I also had a set of throttle bodies from a GSXR750 that would eventually replace the Subura TBI unit on a custom made manifold. Unfortunately I lost it all when my old barn burned down. Still hoping to do a Megasquirt project some day...............

Howdy,
Just got back from vacation.
Lots of discussion on injectors being used in thread. Mapping from MicroSqirt.
I am also looking into injecting my Spit, maybe.

I have a lot to do to the bike and the Spit, maybe I'll get some done this winter.
