Am just a little proud of myself and wondering why all the worry.
I put the engine in the frame this morning with nary a problem from the bike.
I did have a malfunction with my HFT lift however. I was adjusting the jack height
down, when I released the let off pedal too quickly. This caused the jack to go all the way down and start leaking hydraulic fluid. I was ramping up to use a couple of well placed expletives when I notice the let off pedal had moved beyond it's design limits. This caused the let off piston to move all the way outward. Holding my language I realized all I need do is pull the pivot pin and replace the pedal back to it's proper position which I did and worked. A little jockeying the motor and I had the final drive spline all lined up in less than five minutes, a little prying with a big screwdriver and I slipped the drive shaft all the way on. Was surprised, expected to use all my "motivational" words but didn't need em.
So I saved my well chosen expletives for some future catastrophe
Finished prepping my engine last night.

Since I did not take her apart, I've no frame of reference on cable routing.
Guess I'll have to "Wing" it
and see how it goes.
