Well here we go again! I had to replace my last shortie helmet cuz I found a crack at a rivet where the strap connects. In the painting of the new helmet I decided to skip the gold base color and go with the sparklescent mango straight over the white primer. WOW! Real nice color! Now I'm gonna paint the bike to match. Helmet on the left is the new color. The one on the right is the old color dancr

Most likely stay with the red accents. Still can't settle on a font for lettering. Not gonna lose any sleep over it though. :IDTS:

Hit the swap meets and bike boneyards for a second set of fenders and panels! I've got two full sets for my bike. This way the bike is only down for the time it takes to swap out the tins crossy.gif

Got a new(to me) truck to fab a mount for then add to the paint list. Don't know what year it is but the price and size were right, and it should complete the look I'm going for.

Probably keep the bottom black and paint the lid to match the bike. Start the mount fab tomorrow and then worry about the paint. I'll keep ya posted. dancr

Motorcycle restoration is our hobby and we pay for that. But in the end of wrenching, the bikes are free!
