So the carbs keep dripping gas from everywhere. I just dumped another 100 into the bike for carb rebuild kits. Now I'm up to right around 1000 in the whole project. Not bad. Not giving up. But this is a big headache for someone so ready to ride!

When you rebuild it's worth it to devise a 1-2 quart tank to hang 6' above the rack with the rack on the bench or floor to check for leaks. Six feet simulates fuel pump pressure. Lots of places they can leak.
Whatever I suggest here should be given ample time for a moderator to delicately correct. I apologize in advance.

Got em rebuilt. Had to resynch. Got it idling pretty sweet. Took down the road and back. About 5 miles both ways. Never hooked up the fuel pump. Rode great. I'm so ecstatic!!

Got it running pretty good. Been several miles on it so far. Then tach quit working. Speedometer quit working. Still runs good tho! Like I said before not really a naked wing. Not fully dressed either.

Looks good! Also looks like it's time for a new rear tire, lol!

Yeah it's a little dry rotted! Lol. Thinking of going with Shinko 705's front and rear just for the looks.

Shinko's are popular. I have a set on my 1100, but haven't had much riding time yet. We shall see!
