Just picked up a CX650

for those of you that have M.B.S. (multiple bike syndrome) and have the "silver wing" models.
as our sponsors also have supplies for those bikes and they are popular with the "wing" crowd.

Just recently read all the posts on this build. Caught my interest as I've got 2 of the CX650s and an '81 CX500. They are all runners. I just may be able to come up with another CX650C parts bike. Still has a motor and a few parts to it.
So..back to your project. How's it coming? Are you snowed in at home and snowed in with schoolwork? I'd like to see the finished project some day. I too have to take a break from projects at the midway point. Gets to be too much like Work.
The difficult can be done in a day. The impossible takes a little longer, if you don't know it can't be done.

Been a while since I've been on here - I actually ended up giving the CX to my brother. He's taking his MSF course this summer and I figured the CX would be a decent first bike for him - once he finishes building it.

And on the other hand, passing the CX along gives me more time to work on my other project, a basketcase GL1500. Once that starts rolling, I'll get a build thread going. And when my brother gets the CX on the road, I'll post up some pictures of the end result. He's already taking it in a slightly different direction than I was...
