MGS strikes again 83 GL650I
Found an 83 GL 650I for sales relatively cheap. It has problems with the rear shock &/or Pro-Link linkage and faded paint, but otherwise seems to be in okay condition. Hopefully the rear suspension won't be too much of a problem/pain to get up to snuff. Pics to follow before too long.

Congrats! There is a great write up posted here http://ofapars-.webs.com/prolink.htm about rebuilding the Prolink mono shock.lt1 wrote:Found an 83 GL 650I for sales relatively cheap. Info on rebuilding the shock is here
I used basically the same info (including the amount of fluid to expell) for Eccles' shock and it seems OK after 4 years, something like 50,000 Km and all I did was clean it out, re-install the old seals and re-fill it with fresh fluid.
