East Coast Mini Rally at Mid Ohio Tee Shirts - Contest!!!

UPDATED June 5, 2010

Congratulations to Sunnbob for his Winning Design.
Votes at the close of the contest:
Sunnbob - 8
Paultjack - 7
Roady - 6

Shirt orders are being taken until Sunday Night, June 6!

Hi All,

As Whiskerfish mentioned, there's been a lot of interest in a shirt for this mini-rally. I thought I'd give a hand and put something together for those of you who are interested. Now, I could just go ahead and design the whole thing myself, but I believe my creative juices flow in other veins. So, I'm looking for some input into the design of this shirt. What I want is the NGW Logs in the Pocket area so don't worry about that unless you have some fantastic alternative design. The Back design is where you come in.

Pricing
$15 per shirt
$ 5 Shipping
-------------------
$20 Total shipped to your door.

All shirts will be mailed. No pickup at the Rally. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Judging and Delivery
Obviously, you'll want your shirt to wear to the rally! So, Judging for the design will commence May 29 and end June 4. This will give me almost a month to get the shirts printed and shipped out prior to the Rally. Once all the images are submitted I'll create a new thread with just the images for judging. I believe the voting mechanism of the board allows 10 choices. So, if there are more than 10 entries I will choose which 10 are posted for the final judging. I will be shipping the shirts out immediately once I receive them.

Rules for the Design are:
- Designs should be in good taste and reflect the spirit of Naked Goldwings and this site.
- No copyrighted material
- No mention of the AMA which is sponsoring the Vintage Days
- Designs should be kept to 2 or 3 colors. Shirt pricing is based on number of colors we use. More colors will cause the shirt cost to increase $1 per color.
- Images need to be clean, high-quality with no jaggy lines.
- Please keep Images posted to this board for judging to 640x480 or less. Actually artwork can be much larger.

Orders
I will be taking orders beginning May 25 and stop taking orders once I place the order for the shirts. I will stop taking orders Sunday, June 6. All shirts are to be paid for in advance through PayPal - no exceptions. Orders will be placed by sending payment to my Paypal account including quantity, size and mailing address. My Paypal account is pasaalcur@comcast.net

I will amend this post with additional information and corrections as needed.

Now Let's See Those Designs!!!

-Paul

Shirt Designs:

Update - I'm including Roady's image in the voting. Note that you are allowed 2 votes! So, if you have already voted and wish to place a vote for Roady, feel free to vote again!

Technically, only Sunnbob's and my design meets the requirements for the number of color values. The other designs are both too complex and with too many colors to be printed within the budget set forth. So, the only shirts to be considered are Sunnbob and Paultjack's designs. However, I've included all the images anyway so you can see all the submitted designs.

Count me in on buying one.

Now, if I can think of a design I just might enter the contest.

What was that prize again?

I just update the shipping in the original post.

Thanks to Neil and his wife bringing so much stuff they will have a vehicle in which to transport shirts for pickup at the Rally! This means that if you prefer to save $5 you can pickup your shirt from Neil at the Rally! Thanks Neil!!!

Note that shirts are still to be paid in full at the time of the order, you just get to choose shipping or pickup.

Nice design Richard. So ... do you plan to pickup your shirt at the rally?

You could always jet into St Louie and ride up on Winnie and/or Trixie.
