It's going in the semi which is prewired and even has a built in antennae. I think Al supplied a meter for me to use ... was that an SWR?

Re: Monthly Breakfast Run, St. Louis
John,
Friday sounds even better than Sunday to me. There has not been any other feedback about breakfast so far. I have a route laid out to go up 67 to Carrollton and over 108 and 127 to Mulberry Grove to pop in at Steve's for a bit (if that's ok with him) and head back home. 200 miles or there abouts. We can lay out final details later today if you are interested.

Call me when you finish breakfast and I'll try to be home. If you're good I may even show you my new 10 wheeler, it's parked over at Love's on 127.

Re: Monthly Breakfast Run, St. Louis
I'm up for that. When you plan on going? You going up 255 to where it turns into 67 just south of Jerseyville? There is a restaurant on the 140 (Airport) exit from 255 in Cottage Hills called Franks. Turn left at 140 and it will be on the left or south side of 140 about 2 blocks west of 255. They have a great breakfast special on weekends. Don't know about Friday but it's still very good.ritalz wrote:John,

Was thinking of leaving home 9ish and could stop by your place and go from there. Will be more interested in lunch than breakfast. Should be a nice day.

Hey John, didn't mean to pull away from you and Mike on the way home. Kept expecting you to come up through traffic. I was only running 65 - 70 except to pass.

Re: Monthly Breakfast Run, St. Louis
No problem. We were just cruising enjoying the ride. I rarely go the speed limit on the interstate. I put myself in a traffic free zone and stay there.

* ^ * ^ * ^ * ^ SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT * ^ * ^ * ^ * ^
.
The British Are Coming!
.
At the next breakfast, October 18th, Old Fogey (not just any old fogey, but John from Scotland) will be joining us for the monthly breakfast run. Along with John will be Doug "Cyborg" -- Gord "RAT" -- Greg "OldeNEWWing" -- and hopefully, some other out-of-the-area bikers.
A special request has been entered for Claude "kYpondman" to join us, too.
We are planning an all-weekend get together out here at the Roadyhouse. Early arrivers will be showing up on Friday afternoon (10/17) and all are welcome to toss out their bedroll and belly up to the fire. We'll make do with accommodations as well as we can ... here's the plan so far:
Friday, Oct. 17th, 6:00 pm
Maybe not the showing like last year's PigOut but it certainly should be fun.

RSVP as soon as you can.
