The ports are small too. More like they should be rather than the too large ones that a stock 1000 has. A good head to do some port work on.

The seat 'settles' once I'm on it. Adjusting the pressure in the repurposed airshock determines the settled height.
I am planning a tether to keep the upper seat position constant as it does still tend to pitch you forward onto your arms when braking hard. ... Part of the Work in Progress.
BTW, it is fast. Once it gets into 3rd it really hooks up. In 1st and 2nd it hits the rev limiter in both gears when you get on it hard.

We need to see a video of that bad boy taking off.

Man, what a radical departure from anything called "normal." I could ride this. You all know how fashion conscious I am, so I'd be out there in my very best fly qiana long sleeve blouse w/ a full baby blue polyester jump suit, double breasted, no doubt, maybe bell bottoms, too. White patent leather shoes w/ little buckles. It's all about style, baby, style. Cruise the boulevard in self-proclaimed originality, yep.
If there is one thing I have learned throughout this process it is this: Check your respirator for spiders before you put it on.
Stylish or not I would love to ride it. I just missed out on a 1500 on the local craigs list that was super cheap and I was already envisioning it naked.
