Looking very sharp!.
Bikes at present:

83 XL 600r with a 2004 XR650L engine
And a slightly worse for the wear BMW GS adventure bike awaiting repair

Wow man. That bike is fantastic! Glad you chose this route, its another example of how versatile these bikes can be. I think they look fair when stock, but they are the absolute best looking cafe racers and baggers around, and now, it looks like they may have the best Scrambler look as well. Keep up the good work & keep those pics coming.

Any updates on this? Great attention to detail.

Couple questions:
What tires and sizes did you use? Any clearance issues?
Did you change the stock wiring at all, or just freshened it up?

I will post and update

Tires - They are Continental TCK 80's Front 110/80-19 Rear 130/80-17 - no clearance issues fit right in.
Wiring is all standard just repaired the damage sections from Scotch Locks and age.

Before the winter really set in and my fingers were still able trk in the garage I did a lile more work and got the bike ready for the road! Painted the side covers, brakes, tune up, lights etc.

I liked it in the blue, but I LOVE it in the gray! That's a very very cool bike you've put together.
