Wow been so busy workin on the scooter haven't posted on here but for help once...Thanks to everyone for all the ideas and tech help from this site! This is my "almost" finished naked gl1100. I would like to powdercoat the rear rack and the crash bars still and I have a windshield coming hopefully tomorrow. I bought all my lighting, speedo, mirrors and bars from dime city cycles out of florida, very cool site for stuff. This site rocks and was a lot of my inspiration on the bike build, naked and fast is what it transformed my fully dressed interstate into!

From this distance my barnyard paint job looks good...close up I can pick it apart but it was my first shot, come winter I'll redo it to perfection...no matter how many tries it takes! anim-cheers1

If'n you're 10 feet away it looks great.

If you're on it riding it looks great.

What more ....

I think it looks great save the seat. Just doesn't seem to fit with the rest of the bikes theme. Sorta going for the cafe look with the mirrors etc.

Not to be critical. Just my opinion from a fellow with little skills. Just what my eye sees. Maybe a single seat? I don't know maybe I'm the only one who has this opinion. If so just ignore me.

I agree about the seat, the king-queen just doesn't seem to work with a cafe/bobber bike. If you ride two-up you need to keep the seat and add some kind of a sissy bar?backrest for the passenger. The bike looks great but imho it would look better with a gunfighter or similar.

Motorcycle restoration is our hobby and we pay for that. But in the end of wrenching, the bikes are free!
