carbon fiber works for me if you are using any carbon fiber anywhere else on the bike. if not rubber is my first choice

I really like the engine color. If I ever do another bike I think I'll start with painting the engine like that. I don't see no stinkin' pink it all looks red to me. Nice work. I see I'm going to have to pay close attention to this build. tumb2

BTW Carbon Fiber or black is your choice but if other accents are going to be black then I would go with rubber. One of the rules of good design is to limit your colors to three. What I'm not enamored with is the shape of the carbon fiber. Doesn't seem to flow with the lines of the shelter to me.

You sir have done some imaginative design work with this first GL. Either you planned a long time or have intuitive feeling for the art form. Very good. Like the way you shortened up the rear, I sketched your design hope you don't mind. Thinking about making a vertical tail light with bendable leds.

I agree. One of the first things I had to learn in the home improvement business ,never exceed a three color combo..
I also agree with the knee pads design. In my opinion it should flow with the lines of the tank and should be made to the size of one third of the tanks side panel, that way it will be in balance with the overall right and left side of the bike.
Whatever color you choose for the seat is what I would choose for the knee pad. Be it black, red ,etc.
Good start on the café’ look.
Greg.

The carbon fiber would look great if you have carbon fiber in your seat.
