dont like my Interstate tail.
Any issues with fitting an 1100 std rear fender?
For that matter I have a spare gl1000 fender, any issues with this?
Im not strong with fabricating skills, but can manage if it is simple & straight fwd.

Your thoughtz please?

Kenny here is a 1200 standard rear fender. Needs some repairs as there is some rust, but it is fixable.

Brother Liam to the rescue. I saw this but was not certain it was correct.
Bought it and its done. Thanks. I think that Rat made a good suggestion that I check that the correct fuel pump is on the bike. He said that FI pumps look just like the pumps for the carbs. I've had problems with the pump running & running not matter where I adjust the petcock valve. Drained the oil, was new oil but very thin & smells of gas.
New oil, filter and leaving the petcock off for now, will get back to it in about a month. I'm still heading to Ohio for the barbecue and then on to Mich to see my son for a day. This can wait now. Glad I could grab the rear fender though thanks.
This will be my first overnight journey going a bit over 3000 miles. I'm a tad nervous, but know I'm in for a good time.
Take care Liam,

Thanks,

Kenny

PS. Could not get her off the center stand, floor is too slippery. Will have to use portable lift to set it down onto the side stand. Will have to get some friction material or matting where I keep her on the center stand I expect.
