Ok, I scrap the pin-up for now and here are some new pictures of the work I did today. I put the false tank, side covers and seat on. Fender is just sitting on the front tire for now and she has not been clean or wax  so I will have some better pictures when I'm finished.

Looks GREAT!
Tell me more about that seat / rear fender, doesn't appear to be the one in the pic at the beginning of the thread. Is it a Darkwing?

Nicely done. That gold stripe really pulls your eyes to it. It took me awhile before I even noticed the gold motor.

I did not plan to us that seat and fender, it came with the bike. But I did us the seat as a test drive while I was painting the Darkwing :) . As far as the rear fender its sitting on the side of my shop.

Very nice. I wasn't sure about the motor, but that paint job brings it all together.

Thanks, I really thought I would have to repaint the motor. Me and the wife painted the bike, it was not an easy task come up with something for a gold motor.

VERY classy...I would not have thought of gold as an engine color, but the way that you tied it all together with the striped tank / side covers and gold brake calipers looks totally COOL...Congratulations on the work so far, must be rewarding to see your hard work come together so nicely...

Good, clean design you've done there. I too was in the "dunno bout that gold motor" group. But this has really come together nicely.

Here's another with a lot of possibilities.

Here's a link to pages of Vargas' pinups.

If you decide to still go with the pin up, I could send these over to my brother in law at his sign shop and see what he could do with them. Just let me know.

The bike looks great as is, IMHO.

I also found out how hard it is to painting Black. Any flaw can shows up in the paint, 3 coats of black and 3 coats clear with wet sanding on every coat.
