Hello from Mississippi

#1

Post by SouthernJourneyman »

Hello everyone. Back in October I traded a XR650L for a '78 Goldwing with low miles and in pretty good shape. She was naked when I got her but came with the Vetter fairing and cases. I put all that on for now to help with the winter riding. Can't wait to take it all back off though.

I've put on a few thousand miles since I got the bike and have to say I love it. Hoping in the near future to start on some mods/upgrades and found this place while searching for info. Wanting to some sort of road warrior/mad max sort of deal. We'll see how it goes.

First things though will be some basic upgrades to brakes and suspension. Then I'll start in with engine work and all that.

Here are a couple of pics, one naked and one loaded down for a camping trip. Yeah, I carried way to much junk on that trip.

Your blue 78 is one of my favorites! And yours looks like it's one year old from here.
