So, I am finally introducing myself to this great group of like minded riders. I have been a faithful user of this forum for the last three years. I have learned a lot about my bike from reading and viewing your submissions.
I have now had my 76 GL1000 on the road for 1 full year and have been having the time of my life. I should have started 20 years ago. I still plan to perform several more modifications and will be using much of you folks insightful wisdom to do so. Here is a couple crappy mobile phone pics for now. i will add better quality pictures asap...

Respectfully,
-Ohio Roughneck

Cool, how's the seat comfort-wise? What's it from?

Welcome!

Welcome from California and to the NGW. To me, it's got a 'Rat Rod' look to it. Nice. Like the seat.

Yes, it's definitely a Rat Rod. The seat is good for bout an hour straight. I love the look but it's no bueno for long distance riding. It's hard mounted with a double t welded bracket to the frame.
