Hi,

I live in Hubbardston MA with two ladies and a cat. I have a daughter and two sons and the three have left the nest. So when I'm done with my "chores" I'm either on the latest build project, checking the honeybees, or tinkering and riding one of the bikes.

Bought my first GL1000 ('79) August of '09 and now have a naked '75 and '76 on the road. The '79 went to a friend at work and he loves the bike. Another buddy rode the '79 for twenty minutes on one of our rides and he had to get one so he now has a '78. My cousin and I were chatting about bikes and he became intrigued with the GL1000 and ended up at an estate auction two weeks later and picked up a '75 and a '82 GL1100I. So I guess I've been doing my bit to "spread the word" so to speak.

Look forward to gaining and sharing experiences with other members. The site looks terrific!

Well got to run, off to a public water supply inspection.

Later
Gene

Bikes: '75 and '76 GL1000; '76 and 79 GL1000 spare parts bikes, '65 CL77 Scrambler, '72 XS650 Yamaha

Welcome Gene, used to live in Gardner and go to the Flea Market over your way. I moved to NH where there is less traffic and more open space to ride. Keep getting the word out, these are some great old ladies that deserve all of the tlc we can give them.

Welcome to NGW. I believe the early Goldwings are the major cause of MBS (Multiple Bike Syndrome)

Welcome from St Louis. Nice stable, I like the CL77 models, one of my first bikes.
