GL1000 Replacement Brake and Clutch Levers from SCI

#1

Post by OldRider2 »

Has anybody used these for 75-77 GL1000s from SCI and if so how is the quality? Do they look like the OEM ones? They do in the picture but sometimes pictures look different than the real item. If I can find ones that look original and are the same form/fit/function as OEM I'd like to use them. SCI tells me they come out of a Europe supplier. At first I thought they were Emgo but they aren"t.

Thanks Whiskerfish, I was getting ready to order some brake hoses from SCI and noticed these and thought I would ask the forum about them.

I bought the GL1000 brake hose kit from them the three front hoses and the special rear one that is part rubber hose and part formed metal hose. The quality was like OEM and the metal fittings for the banjo bolts are anodized to resist corrosion.

Thanks flyin900. I decided I will try the levers and will order them when I order the brake hose set.

Good question but the SCI site doesn't give a size, just that it replaces the part number.
