Not particularly wanting Thailand copies for replacements (photo) but has anyone used these? Quality? Appearance? Anyone ever seen NOS available?

They're still available brand new from Honda. Best price is $26 each right here.

Re: Tank Emblems
I bought a set of these decent quality. Plastic, as opposed to metal which I think Is OEM correct. They aren't exact replacements either. No pins like stock, rather holes for screws. If I had the $$ I would opt for OEM, but I found these to be satisfactory.

Re: Tank Emblems
Placerville - thanks for the link. That is a good price.
According to the fische, only the left p/n is listed, qty 2. By that, I would understand the emblems to be symetrical, but I looked at my tank and I'm not convinced
they are the same (without removing them). Do you know if the 'left' is interchangeable with the right?

Re: Tank Emblems
I bought a set of those copy logos, they are pretty decent. I decided not to use them though. If I had you would not be able to tell the difference between OEM and fake.

Re: Tank Emblems
Well, it's the same part number for both sides but, I can't tell you for sure. Best way, I guess, would be to remove yours and swap sides?Fewman wrote:Placerville - thanks for the link. That is a good price.

The Oem's are plastic, and are identical for either side.

Re: Tank Emblems
I spent over $100 on new emblems for my side covers for the 83, I ordered a set from Tailand. They were good enought for me but I had to use double stick tape to mount them.

With help from my friend Placerville, I bought the OEM and they are perfect. Loving the look.

Re: Tank Emblems
Lining them up to my tank covers looks like a match, right and left. Looks like they will need a light 'lick and a promise' polish...
