Taking a break from the Vaincre for a couple of days, I built a greenhouse for a client in Snohomish, Washington. The greenhouse is 16x24 and constructed using double pane E-glass. Some of the panels weighed up to 95 lbs. The grounds surrounding the greenhouse were amazing. No expense was spared on the structures on the site, the main house even had an indoor swimming pool. The shop was bigger than most houses, and finished inside with VG cedar and thermal floors. Probably my favorite part was the bike parked in the garage. A BMW K1600.

The K1600 features a 1649cc in line six and is a thing of beauty. This was the first time I had seen one in person and I was impressed. Very Impressed.

Nice job! I take it the glass is fully hail-proof? I ask because when I put a greenhouse up here, I'd just got all the glass in and we had this incredible hailstorm in July, which we watched from the house....4" of solid ice sliding down the drive towards the house, made up of these huge hailstones.

We watched it entranced till I remembered the poor greenhouse.

There wasn't an unbroken pane in the roof!

I re-roofed it with twinwall polycarbonate.

It was freakish...cars looked like they'd been caught in the asteroid belt...really deep dings all over.

Gents;
A few bucks there for sure. A good friend of mine celebrated his 75th birthday last summer buy buying a red 1600 GT. What a beast, and he uses it well. He spends the entire summer riding. He traded in a Kawasaki Concours that had over 80,000 miles on it.

Wait until you get the chance to ride one. ;)

Cycle World put it ahead of the Goldwing when they did a comparison.
Having ridden both I'd say it is pretty close. Depends a lot on the type of riding you do the most.

I like the styling better than the wing (blasphemy)..

Hal, the roof is 5 wall poly carb with UV coating, and the walls are double pane E-glass safety glass...

That should be pretty much asteroid-proof!
