i can see a real need for one in a largely metro area. and i think anyone who is willing to work on old bikes can do real well these days

That is a neat idea. We have a shop in Calgary that the shop work space is combined with the sales floor, so you can go in and see what is being worked on and talk to the folks doing the wrenching, but they do not allow owners to do any actual work, that I am aware of. I am sure those guys in Vancouver provide a valuable to service to many bike owners who need, or want, a little help. action1 to them.

something similar recently opened in san francisco. were it not almost 50 miles away i'd investigate. definitely a cool idea, but lots of pitfalls to make it work
