Link for carb sync video

#1

Post by Placerville »

I've loaned my sticks to a friend in So. Cal. so he can sync his carbs. I included (what I thought) were good directions for the process. But, as it turns out, he's a 'visual' kind of guy and the written instructions I provided aren't doing the trick. Can anyone direct me to a YouTube or other video that does a good job of showing the sync process on an early GL? (His is a '77.) - Thanks

Thanks RB. This one is OK but, I think it needs more explanation for the beginner. Don't you?

So, I wonder why Randakk hasn't done a carb sync video? Seems with his emphasis on carb kit sales, a 'How To' carb sync DVD offering video would be very helpful.

I couldn't find a video that was basic enough to refer my friend. I decided to drop Randall an email saying that I thought a 'How To' DVD from him detailing an early GL carb sync would be good. He wrote back and said a complete sync tutorial is included in his rebuild video. (Doh! I didn't know that.) And, along with that, there's a tutorial on his Web site. So, I bought the video and sent it off to my buddy. When he's done with it, I'd be happy to loan it out to anyone else to view/use.

Carb sync is covered thoroughly in my GL1000 Carb Video:
